‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ trailer: Janhvi Kapoor shows grit, gumption and guts as the first female air force pilot in combat

Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The biopic based on the life of the first Indian female airforce pilot Gunjan Saxena who went into combat during the Kargil war has generated the right buzz right from its inception. Now, the trailer of the film has dropped and we must say the hype was justified.

Janhvi as Gunjan shows guts, grit and gumption fighting stereotypes and trying to fulfill her dreams of becoming a pilot. The trailer shows the patriarchal and orthodox mindset of the defence services and how the protagonist managed to break all of them through sheer determination. Pankaj Tripathi as the supportive father steals the show.
