Kapil Sharma asks Sidharth Malhotra if kissing scene with Kiara Advani in Shershaah was his 'creative input', actor responds
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's on-screen chemistry in Dharma Productions' Shershaah was appreciated by the audience. They played the roles of Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema. Tracing their eternal love story, Sidharth and Kiara also shared a kiss in the film based on the Kargil war. The actors were asked about the kissing scene during their appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. The makers of the show shared an uncensored version on YouTube.
In the video, host Kapil Sharma teased Sidharth and Kiara about the kissing scene. He brought up the topic by asking Sidharth whether the scene was a part of the script or his 'creative input'. The actor said that 90% of what was shown in Shershaah actually happened in Captain Batra’s life. Teasing his further, Kapil asked, "Woh baaki ke 10% ki baat kar raha hoon main." This left Sidharth and Kiara in splits. The former then replied, "Nahi, nahi, woh bhi sab humne kirdaar ke liye. Karna pada, bohot mushkil se, forced… zabardasti karna pada."
Sidharth and Kiara are rumoured to be dating each other. Shershaah was their first film together. Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, Shershaah released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12. The film was critically appreciated for the performances, music, direction and honest narration of Captain Batra's life.
