Raj Kundra pornography case: Gehana Vasisth and two others to be summoned by Mumbai Police Crime Branch
After raiding Raj Kundra’s Juhu Bungalow and several office spaces, the Mumbai Police are taking their investigation in the pornographic case further by summoning three more people for questioning. As per reports, Mumbai Police’s Property Cell of its Crime Branch has summoned three people including Gehana Vasisth. All three of them are supposedly going to appear before the investigating agency today.
Since Raj’s arrest on July 19 in a case connected to producing and distributing pornographic and obscene content several new developments have emerged. Reportedly, the investigation agency has found a hidden cupboard in Kundra's Viaan and JL Stream office in Mumbai's Andheri area. Police said they had seized 48 TB worth of images and videos, most of which is adult content.
In an earlier interview, Gehana had told a leading daily, “Shilpa is correct. The Hotshots app never had any content that could be classified as pornography. How can someone be associated with something that just does not exist. I believe Shilpa is correct when she's saying that she didn't know anything about the Hotshots app, this is based on my personal knowledge. As far as I know, Hotshots has never made any porn film, ever. Those were bold films, erotic films, hot films, but none of them were porn films."
Kundra’s judicial custody which was till July 23 was extended till July 27 after his bail plea was rejected by a Mumbai court. On the other hand, Kundra and Shilpa both have been interrogated by the Crime Branch. However, Shilpa has denied any role in husband Kundra’s controversial case and reportedly denied that the content created by him was porn.
