Sonam Kapoor is a gal who wears her heart on her sleeve and currently it beats very strongly for R. Balki! The filmmaker directs her in Padman, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Sonam, who is supposedly playing the role of a tabla player in the film, has been thoroughly enjoying the experience of working with Balki, who has films such as Ki & Ka, Paa and Cheeni Kum to his credit.

During a fan interaction on the occasion of her hitting the 11 million follower mark on Twitter, she happily gushed, “I have been a fan of R. Here’s a sampling of the other observations the stunner made during her Q&A with fans…

Her mantra when it comes to making the right decision in difficult situations - “Trusting my instincts and not doubting myself!”

The secret to her confidence - “Just being yourself can be your biggest source of confidence!”

If roped in for a superhero movie, would she like to be the hero or the villain? Bad, wins! “I think villains also have great stories to tell,” she shot back.

Her favourite director - “I can’t choose one. I love each and every character I have portrayed.”

Her all-time favourite Hollywood actor – “Meryl Streep
