After a year-long delay, Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was scheduled to release in theatres on May 13, 2021, that is Eid. However, the Government of Maharashtra announced a partial lockdown in the state due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases. The Government has imposed a night curfew and weekend lockdown. Amid this, rumours were rife that Radhe will be postponed once again. But now, Salman has himself given an update on the film’s Eid 2021 release.

Salman, unveiling the cover of Kabir Bedi's Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor at a virtual event, said that if the lockdown continues, the release of Radhe will be pushed to 2022. The superstar further said that only if the COVID-19 curve flattens and people take all precautionary measures, then Radhe will release in theatres on Eid this year.

"We are still trying our best to release Radhe on Eid but if this lockdown is going to continue then we might have to push it to the next Eid. But if the cases go down and people take care of themselves and wear the masks, maintain social distancing, don’t break the laws that the government has put on us then I think this will die off very soon and if it does then we will have Radhe in theatres on Eid," Salman told.

The superstar further added, "But if the citizens don’t listen and these COVID cases continue to rise then it’s not just the problem for theatre owners but also for the daily wage workers. It’s going to be a really bad one like it was earlier."

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. The actioner is directed by Prabhudeva. The film is co-produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri under the banners Salman Khan Films, Sohail Khan Productions, and Reel Life Production.
