A gorgeous Alia Bhatt and a dapper Hrithik Roshan celebrate Durga Puja with Rani Mukerji and cousins


The Mukerjis', including families of actresses Kajol, Rani and director Ayan, have been hosting the biggest and grandest Durga Puja celebrations in the city for the longest time now. Started by Ayan's father, the pandal, every year, witnesses the who's who of Bollywood seeking the blessing of Maa Durga with Kajol, Tanuja, Tanishaa, Rani, Ayan and their relatives in attendance. And this year too, the festival is celebrated with enthusiasm and devotion. On Monday, the pandal played host to a number of devotees including Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan, who joined Rani, Ayan and Kajol in the celebrations of Navami that is the ninth day.

Alia and Hrithik, at the pandal, were seen soaking into the festival spirit with Ayan, who is working with the former on his upcoming mythological fantasy film Brahmastra. The actors went clickety-click and chit-chatty with the gorgeous Rani. Hrithik and Rani, who have formerly worked in films including Mujhse Dosti Karoge, clicked pictures together. Speaking of Alia, the actress opted for a floral saree and kept her makeup easy breezy. Hrithik chose casual jeans and tee for the visit.

Cousins Kajol and Rani were seen bonding with each other and their cousins Ayan and Sharbani Mukerji. Dressed in a pink and golden leheriya saree, Rani was a royal vision to behold while Kajol, in a green blouse and saree belonging to a deep hue of pink, painted an elegant picture. Well, it seems it's time to take some festive look inspiration from the lovely actresses. Kajol was joined by her mother Tanuja and sister Tanishaa and they clicked selfies together at the pandal. 

Coming to Hrithik, before visiting the Mukerjis' pandal, sought blessings with his father Rakesh Roshan at their family friend's pandal in the city.  Mrs. Ira Durgotsav Pandal in the city was formerly visited by Hrithik after the success of his film Bang Bang and now, with War stirring a storm at the box-office, the actor offered prayers to the Goddess.
