Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2019: Karan Johar to Shah Rukh Khan, check out who-wore-what at the red carpet this year


The 10th year of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne was indeed a star-studded affair. Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, and Zoya Akhtar were in attendance. This year’s IFFM paved its way for a sartorial soiree as our tinsel town celebs showed up looking their fashionable best.

For the opening press conference of the gala, A Gucci clad Karan made quite an appearance. He added the element of drama to his all-black look with a popping pink blazer and a pair of geek glasses.

For the award night at IFFM, Karan looked every bit dapper dressed in the ensemble from Vetements. His cut-out sleeved suit was paired with a crisp white shirt and a studded voluminous bow tie from MXS. Classy Louis Vuitton glasses added on to his look furthermore.

Mr Johar chose to sizzle in a desi look for hoisting the Indian flag in Melbourne. His classic white sherwani from Shantanu and Nikhil featured a metallic gold detailing and a studded broach.  He paired this ethic attire with suave black shoes and classic glasses.

Hot stuff! For the press con, the Gunday actor sported a casual yet sex avatar. His classic white John Varvatos tee and Philipp Plein denim was paired with a sexy leather jacket from All Saints. Black boots from Saint Laurent rounded off his ensemble. Uber cool sunnies from Mykita added on to his look.

Arjun looked suave and sexy suited up in Herringbone & Sui for the awards night. He paired his look with geek glasses and a classy watch. That sexy stub added a grunge element to his look.

Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, Malla took our breath away dressed in this scarlet hot number from Benchellal. Her long-sleeved, layered gown featured a plunging neckline. Subtle accessories Swarovski and Misho added an element of glamour to her look. With muted glam, brown lips and mid parted hairdo, she looked nothing less than a slay-bae!

For her photoshoot with the Herald Sun newspaper at the IFFM, Malla played muse to pastels and ruffles dressed in Jasongrech. Her layered gown featured a risqué neckline which added on to her beauty. Malla opted for a muted glam and a no accessory look to go with her attire. She completed her look with a messy bun with few stands on the loose
